Lejawa looks promising for the interior DL.  I'd love to see some OT beef in there as well!

I thought it a bit odd after last years emphasis on OL recruiting, that four of our five listed so far on Rivals are OL and our lone offer is to OL Keegan Sheedy of Lancaster Catholic.  Coaches seem to agree with you, bogie.

We were in the running last recruiting season for a linebacker fron Central Catholic (lost out to Fordham I think).  Would be nice to have more exposure to that Pittsburg football powerhouse.

ELB - Your referring to Niko Thorpe.  Considered one of the top five LB's out of this area for 2014.  I think his size was the only reason he did not go to an FBS school.  Listed as 5'11" 215 but like all these kids, they don't quite measure up to the heights/weights in the programs.  None the less, a really nice football player and very productive on a very good team at the highest level.  With his speed he would of been a nice fit in the new 4-2-5 scheme as a safety in run support.

You are correct WestPA.  We were fortunate to recruit a really good athletic class this year, but we lost out in my opinion with the two most athletic kids of all - and to Patriot League competitors - LB Niko Thorpe to Fordham and LB Nick McBeath (from Florida) to Holy Cross.

Andy, you're a statistical guy. How many of these early offers to we end up with. Or, is this just a stab in the dark for a guy who will end up on a major college team?

Art Link is from Gainesville, and venturing into a new recruiting ground for us.  As for these early offers I suspect many are "reach" guys for us that we don't have a great chance with.  However if the bigger programs don't come through with an offer we can be in a good place since we were there from the beginning building rapport with these kids.

Yes, I'm a stat guy and you're behind in the "buy" stat.

As far as the players you have to look at them individually.  Doesnt look like these guys are terribly long "reaches."  Dont think we're talking Cabinda or Klock (a couple of big timers we offered early last year) here.  But, time will tell.  Sheedy shows big school interest on the major recruiting svcs, but no other offers, yet. IIRC our first verbals came July last year, maybe June (Fragapane).

Just saw FT's post.  Hope Coach Link makes an impact in N. FL for us.
