As of 8 PM Sat:

ESPN: 16 seed vs Villanova @ Pittsburgh
CBS: 15 seed vs Duke @ Charlotte
Team Rankings: 14 seed Shocked. No opponent given

Most places have us as a 16, but it doesn't seem like we will be in a play-in game.

We'll find out for sure at 6 tomorrow. Anyone going to the viewing party in Kirby? CBS will have cameras there.

I wonder about the turnout tomorrow.  My senior and junior are home (Chicago) on break as of last night.

Two Paul Reinhard stories on The Morning Call's website bring together this year's championship and the team that played Temple in 2000.

No question.. we are playing Nova in Pittsburgh.  Make your hotel reservations. The committee likes to keep teams local where possible.  This is a no brianer.  In the past, teams that could have been a 15 RPI wise were a 16 because the game site was closer to respective campuses.

It's sad tp think what might have been if it were not for rothkopf and the no scholarship policy for four years. The BOT must take a lot of the blame as well.

CBS is now saying Wisconsin in Louisville.  'Nova in Pittsburgh would be more fun.

If we win in the first round, and I'm not saying we even have much of a chance... but if we win, we will achieve immortality.

Nobody has ever won as a 16. The teams that lost by one or two points as a 16 are even remembered.

I'm still holding hope for a 15.  The Selection Committee typically seeds the PL a slot higher than we deserve.

Avoided the play-in game. I'll take it.

Committee threw us a bone, methinks.  Best matchup we could have hoped for from a fan's view - for both schools.

Umm . . . depends upon the sharpness of the knife and the density of the butter, I think.

40 Million people will be filling out brackets, it is estimated. All will have to predict Lafayette's success. Will anybody card the Pards?
