Halftime interview - touting Kaity McKittrick for AD?

If we need someone to stay on budget and make inoffensive tweets then may as well keep Bruce.

Just in case you missed the commercials on the board at home games, you were lucky enough to have that half time interview.

his tweets and that view isn't so popular after Tuesday. Lafayette may be about political correctness but not everyone is.

Halftime chat.

John Leone: "Coach, seemed like the offense showed signs of life with that hurry up approach. Might we see more of that in the second half?"

Coach: "Well, we also need to keep the ball from Melville..."

This board has always been non-political. It's not my board, that's just how it's been. Politics can kill a sports board and those of us who don't care about Twitter are a little mystified by why it matters.

What's killing our teams is a lack of talent and coaching. Nothing else.

Meanwhile back to football:

Melville has 141 rushing yards. Lafayette has 62.

That penalty was 100% needless. Struggling to stay in the game and do something like that intentionally.

No one is talking about politics on this board, rather college employees using their college accounts to push their agendas. They are getting bold and just not hiding it anymore.

Agreed.  But sometimes Lafayette admin and faculty politics directly affect football.

Something that is not unique to Lafayette or colleges or any organization.
I will agree to disagree and drop this. I don't follow or use Twitter and 98 percent of what I see repeated from Twitter is pointless.

When games get to this point, and they usually do, I wonder why we haven't seen Blake or somebody else more often. I don't think anybody but our two seniors has taken a snap all year. That probably won't change against Lehigh.

Are you saying Bruce was making political tweets?  If he did they are no longer there.

This is horrid. The Lehigh game will surely be about the same.
Next year promises to be no better.
Good day gentlemen, I'm going to rake leaves and walk my dog (wife and youngest son on a trip to Florida and I'm enjoying the quiet).
I may skip next week's game. If so I'll make a "tickets available" post.
I've seen enough bad football. I should have gone to the Muhlenberg at Moravian game down the road.

We are in dire need of a new staff and new players. Pathetic tackling and absolutely inept line play. Tavani - "It is what it is." I'm sick to my stomach. Please end this travesty.

I'm just shaking my head.  Gate manhandled us.  We looked like we didn't belong on the same field.

I suppose so.  But we're not a DIII college and we never have been.  Thoughts of DIII are just unacceptable.
