Lafayette MBB hasn't been a consistent winner or had consecutive winning seasons in the 21st century.
It's time to drop the myths.
Lafayette is the doormat of a weak league and there is no hope for a turnaround with this roster.

Best of luck to the young man. Sorry it didn't work out for everyone.
Still not sure why we can't retain players. It may be time.

He's pretty excited, though. Just the chance to work every day with high-level teammates and develop his game at a big-time program was an alluring factor.

"As soon as I started hearing from Creighton, I just knew it was the place I wanted to be," Dunkum said.////

Good riddance.  I'm more concerned about the evaluation process: talent and fit.

So the kid gets a full ride, never steps on the court....even that much in practice...gets knee fixed on our dime and leaves....great!!!

He will be on a scholarship by summer, according to comments here.

Also, "Instead of testing his progress against Patriot League players, he'll get the chance to battle with a group of guys who appear ready to contend in the Big East."

Wasn't this a guy who didn't draw a ton of interest out of high school?
So he parked himself in Easton for three free semesters. $100,000 and 1 1/2 years later, he's gone.

This brings out my inner Rothkopf.

If the kid scammed us, good for him and shame on us for letting this happen.

Our two high profile men's programs appear to be a mess. Jeez!

Lafayette: Sagarin No. 324 of 351. The closest league team is Colgate at 309. Dartmouth is 328.

Someone pointed out to me today that Orender is off the MBB roster as well.  I realize he was a walk-on, but still.

He's transferring to a school in California.
