So true. Much easier for sure but not nearly as much fun. Very little thrill of the chase Smile

Rich, you guys are recruiting an outstanding lb from Bridgewater-Raritan HS in NJ.   I've observed Justin Bryant, a Mike lb play on many occasions, including twice in the State Group 5 final at Met Life stadium.  Very good motor, sure tackler, and plays very well in space, defending the pass.   The kid is constantly around the football.  Is also an outstanding student in the classroom....

He was at LU recently on a visit.  And the kicker about this is Lafayette is well aware of Bryant, and it will hurt if he's playing against us next year.  He is one of the top ten lbs in New Jersey right now.

If you guys get him, your lucky, because he can play on the field right now.

Bryant is a very talented OLB . Ideal type for the 4-2. Very athletic and fast enuf. Ive watched a lot of film on him dont know PF whether we can get him. He is getting a lot of interest now. He has been on campus for his official and a couple if unofficials and for camp. Fingers crossed Smile.
With camp season in full swing expect well see you a lot more activity. Good way to get a feel for who staffs are interested in and where prospects are looking. Most kids try to do at least 3 or 4.camps.

Right on, brother. We had our lists of sites to be checked several times a day. Labor intensive, but a find was gratifying. Strangely appealing. I think I'll log on to The Beaver County Times just for old times sake. Wink

Signing Day(s) - 12/20, 2/7

He plays inside At BRHS but has size.  You guys have a lot of schools competing for him, including Princeton.  And quite frankly, he could go FBS as well.  Just attended Villanova camp

We are approaching our 10th found offer. HC is over 100.

Lehigh's 3rd commit is a lineman from Parsippany(John Burk). Not sure who's recruiting north Jersey for us now after Luke's departure.

It appears our staff is taking the "must see them live" approach to offers. A pair of one day camps coming up this Fri and Sat.

Good to see Coach Phil landing at Lock Haven. Always made time to speak with me and my fam. Good guy.

Coen does much the same. Vast majority of offers and all commits are camp guys or have been on campus. For some reason I dont think Gilmore has a similar scheme Smile.

Wait - Burk is our commit in the 17 class.   Justin Gurth Parsippany Hills to Lehigh I believe.   Is that the same school as Burk?  Seems like some talent coming out of that school if so

Thanks, rich. Yeah, Parsippany vs Parsippany Hills.

Doesn't change my point 100 offers by HC, vs our 9. Three commitments for Lehigh. Just pointing out the different paths the various staffs are taking.

Hoping for a good turnout today and tomorrow.

I don't tend to get overly worried about the number of offers.   I would like to get a commit or two, but it is early.

Maybe Rich can confirm, I didn't think LU had any commits before November last year, but that might be fake news.  Shocked

LU had 2 verbals that I recall . One flipped later. There may have been another but I will have to look it up when I get home.

We're talking about all these recruits for 23018, and just today, I think I saw on Twitter that Lehigh has added four players to this year's freshman group. Latecomers, for sure.

wow, if that's true I would suspect that is a major difference between us and them.   somehow I don't think admissions would be quite as friendly admitting someone at this point in the process, but maybe I am just overly critical

Not really SIDELINER . They are all recruited WOs. Could not be added to roster until admitted to LU. They actually were included in our verbals and later in May added to roster. Why announcement now? Dont know.

Coleman never claimed an LC offer, Rich, but retweeted his brother's.

Interesting in a backward sort of way . Perhaps not a package deal?
