I am hearing good success for 09 recruits for soccer and FH...at least 3 each!! Having scholarships in these sports is a huge benefit. I expect these classes will be done by October!!

Griffith had some awesome rising seniors among the 200+ kids he had at his elite camp. I hope he got a few of them.

The three he got were indeed in that group. I also understand he lost one to UNC from someone close to the team. But she may not have been able to be admited.  I have a prediction...... that both Bohn and Griffith have top 20 teams within the next 4 years AND without comprising admission standards at all, and without expending anymore money than they would have without scholarships. It will be the template that should be followed for all the sports at Lafayette!!

7/25/2008  Samantha Jordan, senior guard/forward for the Ladyraiders makes a Verbal Commitment to play basketball at Lafayette College.

Samantha "AND ONE" Jordan
Position: guard/forward
A junior all position player. six man of the year award 06'. she gets it done. a scorer. good defender. long wing span gets her lots of deflections and steals. good rebounder. good ball handling skills. STRAIGHT A STUDENT IN the IB Program. very coachable. should look to improve passing, shot and range, basketball IQ.

Can't find anything on the men's side. They've lost offered players to American and Lehigh.

This young lady was on campus this past weekend with her parents. She has good height for a guard, probably 5'10". Another guard has also verballed and was also on campus. Not as tall probably 5'7" or so.

Coach O also had a couple of players in. One was a PG also being looked at by Bucknell and Colgate. The other looked to be SG.

His H.S. was ranked as the #7 school in Oklahoma's 6A (largest) division.

Has he verbaled to LC, or did his name just come up as a possible recruit?
