I posted this at AGS, but it has more relevance here.
Here is a very interesting comparison of Randolph vs. Skelton for this year. Be aware that there may be a few stats in here from "mop up" guys, but most of this is from these two.
Passing Yds. - HC 1,964, F 1,940
Completions-Attempts-Int - HC 163-249--6, F 133-221-6
Completion % - HC 65.5%, F 60.2%
TDs by Passing - HC 18, F 15
Not a heckuva lot of difference. Could be a fun afternoon on Saturday. In any event, I'm not expecting the defense to throw a shutout against these guys. |

From LC website today, school physician:
"We have seen a sharp increase in the number of students diagnosed with influenza over the past several days. This represents a dramatic shift from the sporadic activity that we have seen previously during the first half of the semester."
The article continues to say that students are being encouraged to go home if they are infected. From what I hear, this includes a significant number of students.
I wouldn't be surprised if this has a significant impact on the game. |

Mr Administrator:
Can you please update the Football section this week to something like "Beat Fordham"?
Not that I am superstitious or anything, I just thought we might want to put the focus on the upcoming opponent and worry about the specialness of the season a little later.
I'm not saying not the enjoy the ride, by all means enjoy every second of it, just let's savor each week one game at a time and when it's all over, we can discuss how special a season it was then...
Cool? |

Forget it. It's Saturday and you know what that means. "Chance of rain 70%." |
Of course!!! Gorgeous and warm during the week though!!! Of course!! Hey, it's good though that this is the most we have to complain about the season so far... |

I don't know about a significant impact but I have heard there are athletes on some of the other teams that have been affected. |

Curley already was ill during the Columbia game. Maybe if students actually wore jackets when they went out at night it wouldn't be as big a problem... jackets aren't "fashionable"... I remember plenty of fools who did this... and they got sick!
It's probably an issue with Fordham too and every team. It's a problem with the Browns right now, but Costanzo is reported to be ok... probably scared the germs away... |

I think it was on the Holy Cross board, but someone said that dozens of students at Cross and Colgate have the flu. It appears the situation is worse at other schools and somthing that may end up having an impact on a game this season. |

Bring an ark. The chance of rain has moved up to 100%.
Sounds like a good day for Frank to rediscover his running game. |
