At 3-2-1 and in the third place a win over Bucknell and Navy should get the men's soccer team in the tournament. American has already qualified.
Our defense is very good but we have had trouble finding the back of the net. The loss to Colgate did not help but this young team has a shot!!
FH can still mathematically win the league but it is a very long shot and would need Lehigh to beat American.
If we beat Colgate this week end that should at least get us to the tournament with a chance to meet Bucknell in the first round and get revenge for the earlier 1-0 loss, and put us in position for our second win over American in the finals. It can be done.
GO PARDS!! |

Not that grim. They are in if they beat Navy at home this weekend and Colgate loses at American - which is very possible. |

We will get to see if field hockey has improved over the last weeks of the season with a rematch against nemesis Bucknell in the first round of the playoffs. |

A terrific win for the FH team with a come from behind victory over Bucknell, but lost in the the championship game. Perhaps the big effort on Friday coupled with American's walk in the park ag a poor Lehigh team was a factor. But this was a great year for this team who has improved every year under Andrew Griffith. 14 wins, a championship run, wins over Penn State, American, and a very close overtime loss to the number 10 team in the country with two of our best player out with the flu. This was a senior class that never gave up and delivered a great effort on the field. Best of luck to the seniors!!! And to the underclassman....and our recruits..and coaching staff...unfinished business!!!
From someone close to the team....our opener next year will be against Wake Forest!!! |

Mens soccer looses in OT1-0. They played 95 minutes and got off 2 shots. Must have been an exciting game to watch.
Maybe they can play the womens team - first goal wins. Time time - 48 hours. |

They actually had 6 shots - but Bucknell had 14. |
