I'm surprised no one has mentioned the great season softball had. Is this the highest finish they've had in te league? Plus 8 players on the all-league team. Not bad. |

Well done.....the spoils go the winners!!! I was at the dedication of the Kamine field house and the team was there...I got to tell you THEY LOOK LIKE ATHLETES!! Great job by the coach who replaced a disaster. First class effort. |

Pards lose 1-0 in 10 innings. BU lone run scoed on a wild pitch.
Questionable strategy?--I'm not a big softball fan, however, in bottom of 10th, leadoff runner on base sacrificed to second. Next batter bunted again moving runner to third, 2 outs. I'd rather take two shots swinging away to score the tying run from second.
We had ample opportunities to score in the later innings, couldn't get the clutch hit. Tough loss, have to bounce back tomorrow. |
