My guess would be three on scholarship and four walkons.  I don't believe four of the players held any DI offers and were not being tracked by verbalcommits.

If that is accurate, it means on a 15-player roster we have five walk-ons and 10 scholarship players, One of the sophomore schollies has not suited up yet so he would also have to be considered a question mark.

I mean the large roster is good for practice. Let's just hope there is a Delaney or two in the bunch.

I'd be very surprised if there aren't at least four players on scholarship.  Cristiano missed a lot of time with a broken foot, which hurt his recruiting, but was supposedly getting some Ivy interest in the later part of the season. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a scholarship offer.    Jarrett might be on scholarship as well.

With only seven returning scholarship players, it doesn't make sense to me to have only added three.

In any event, this is a big class. Which I guess we needed given the transfers.

•Greens Farms Academy forward Dom Christiano announced on Thursday that he would head to Lafayette College to play in the Patriot League. The 6-foot-7 forward who starred for High Rise Elite on the grassroots circuit last year and made great strides during his senior year at GFA. He's a high level athlete with a developing inside-out skill set. He'll joined the Leopards as a preferred walk-on next year but have a chance to earn a scholarship in future years.

Makes sense that Jarrett is on scholarship in view of the about face from prep school to LC.

It's College! Not University. Ugh!

Nice to see a PG with some size instead of our sub 6' recruits of late.

Although I'd pick Tony Johnson in a heartbeat.

It's not easy for a midmajor to find a tall PG who is good.   The great majority of the top PL PG's have been 6-0 or shorter.  Examples :

- Andres Rodriguez
- Torey Thomas
-  Andrew Brown
- Marquis Hall
- Derrick Mercer
- Darryl Shazier
- Tony Johnson
- Maurice Watson
- Nick Lindner
- Pee Wee Gardner
- Kahron Ross
- Austin Tillotson

And three very good ones who were listed at 6-1 (with sneakers on):

- Bryan Bailey
- Jave Meade
- J.R. Holden

Four other good ones from this past season were Tillman Dunbar, Stephen Brown, Andre Walker, and Anthony Thompson - who average no more than 5-10.

The list of good PL PG's taller than 6-0 is a short one.    Expand it to those taller than 6-1 and it is very short.
