AJ Scoppa is the new Bergen County career rushing leader.....
"To me, this says that Group 1 football is tough," said Scoppa, who earned The Record Male Athlete of the Week honor after rushing for 285 yards and two touchdowns against Butler to break Greg Toal’s career rushing mark. "It says that it’s not pushover teams filled with small kids...
Scoppa, who has 5,460 career yards with one game remaining, says he didn’t know he had a chance at the record when the season began.....

New Milford HS is where Ed Marinaro (Cornell,Nyk Jets, later Hollywood actor) went. I used to do interviews there as a alumni rep for the school. |
