The team eked out a 2-1 win over LU after falling behind 1-0 on a penalty shot.  Amanda got the tying goal and VanderGist got the winner.

The streaming feed broke down and did not come back so since I did not make the trip to Metzger, I have no other info.  We'll leave it to lafalum and others for the details.

So the team wins a big one but I think we have to wait until the results tomorrow to know the PL Tournament picture.

Well deserved win with the pressure on big time.

Now that I look at the standings, LC can only make the tournament if Colgate beats Bucknell on Saturday which is highly unlikely so....this season which showed so much promise turns into a real disappointment.  But I am getting ahead of my self so let's root for Colgate tomorrow.

PL tournament scenario is easy now.  If Bucknell beats Colgate tomorrow, Bucknell is in.  If they lose to Colgate, then LC is in.

Actuallly one of the better FH game between the two rivals. Lehigh had nearly two weeks to prepare for the game and made good use of the time. The game went back and forth until the stroke in the second half by Lehigh. Lafayette and Amanda Magadan in about a minute later tied it up on a corner. Freshman VanderGeest had the game winner several minutes later, also on a corner. I was impressed with Lehigh's effort and skill. Both teams played very well.

The college had lost power on the main campus around noon and power was expected to be out until midnight. I wonder if that effected the feed??

I was disappointed to notice that Bruce and Katie were absent. Unlike last year Byerly didn't make a game all year.

Good end to a season that held more promise.  Now go beat Temple and level your record, and "go Colgate".

Perhaps our Athletic "leadership" were at an important diversity and gender meeting or at a Hillary rally.

Not supporting these kids is inexcusable.

It must have been in Cams, but I am glad to hear he was there. I withdraw criticism.

to be fair, Bruce was at the Bucknell Game last Saturday as well.  Perhaps because of the football game later that day but he was there.

So 137s over 'Gate 3-0 today.  LC goes home and in a year of high expectations does not make the PL Tournament.

The understatement of the year.
