Big win for the soccer girls -  33 seconds into overtime no less.  If they can find a way to beat 'Gate in the next game, they will make the PL Tournament.  Hopefully the student body with get their butts out to Metzger to support them.

From the GoLeopards.com recap (http://www.goleopards.com/sports/w-soccer/recaps/102316aaa.html):

A win on Saturday... would put the Leopards into the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2011. A loss or draw would require help from Army and Holy Cross, who battle league-leading Bucknell and Loyola, respectively.

We have the tiebreaker over Holy Cross but not over Army. So we only need a draw if the BKs don't upset the 137s. I think Army would get the spot if it was a three-way tie, but don't quote me on that. Also, as the recap pointed out, Leopards take the field on Saturday after the other games have occurred so we'll know exactly what we need to do or if we're already clinched.

Your surmise is correct that Army gets the spot if there is a 3-way tie. Even if LC loses, they are in unless Army or HC win. A tie would not be enough for either one.

Btw, an LC win would likely vault them up to the 4th seed, which would mean home field for the first round.

Thanks for the clarification Bison.  The 3 way tie is complicated for sure but good for the Academy.

Bucknell d. Army, 1-0
Loyola d. Holy Cross, 1-0

So the Leopards are in! Now let's get a win tonight and get a home game for Tuesday as the #4 seed!
