USNA (or is it Navy Annapolis?) today at 2PM.

Need some scoring from somewhere. The Stout kid has looked good at times, but, hasn't scored in the last 2 games. Need him and Janacek to contribute offensively.

Should be winable.....should be?

Navy is much more athletic.  Their defense and press is crushing us, and we are struggling to get quality shots.  Conversely our D is poor and Navy is getting real good looks.  Team simply needs better athletes.

This one is pretty staggering. At home.
I'm in New York this weekend and had to miss this contest. Contest?
Time for a drink.
And it's time for this madness to stop.
88-51. Wow.
Imagine Lindner and Klinewski having to miss a game. It would be best to cancel it.

Navy. Lafayette
FG Made-Attempted 35-58 19-49
Field Goal % 60.3 38.8
3PT Made-Attempted 9-16 6-18
Three Point % 56.3 33.3
FT Made-Attempted 9-13 7-8
Free Throw % 69.2 87.5
Total Rebounds 36 21
Offensive Rebounds 8 2
Defensive Rebounds 28 19
Assists 18 12

D-3 teams are more athletic ugh ....Fran is a great guy and coach but for some reason he isn't able to attract the same quality recruit as the other PL schools....Time for a change?

"Competitive in the Patriot League."
Face facts and it is time to move on.

I'm not sure if we have one starter that could start at Lehigh,Bucknell or BU I guess that says it all!

We probably don't. Lehigh had to plug in a freshman for Ross against Princeton. He did well, scored 20 and they won easily.
Imagine Lafayette having to fill in for Lindner or Klinewski.
Ugh!
I have to believe change will happen.
Frank had more league success.
Franosaurus?
Ohanadon?
These guys we wished only the best for just never leave until a team collapse.
This must end.

Just back from the game.

Pros, terrific sandwich at College Hill Tavern, good to hang with a fellow pard

Cons, everything else.

Lafayette allows programs to serve coaches.
Coaches should serve the good of the programs.
We are seeing that begin.
At the Flora Bar, for a bit. Worth checking out even if the Met Breuer isn't your thing (it's not really mine either).
This Rosemary Society cocktail is excellent and I'm not into fruity drinks. Pear brandy, gin, grapefruit, lemon and a rosemary infusion.
Damn!

We just got beat by 37 at home, by Navy.
It was just pathetic. In front of a nice crowd for a snowy day and in front of the football recruits.
By 37.....at home.....to Navy!
We are officially at rock bottom.

Totally where we were until the change in the football program. Now.....that must follow through on the other sports.

We delay and delay while these programs barely manage a pulse by the time we do pull the trigger. "Pathetic" just about says it.

Is a combined loss of 164-92 a record?
That's close to a point-per-minute deficit.

There is the possibility that both teams could lose to every team in their league at least once in one season (men for the second year in a row).  That would surely be a record for the ages.
