Anyone have an inkling in this area--I know I dont.  Some possibles linked to Lafayette whom I've not seen spoken for:

Jeremiah Young   Steelton-Highspire   PA's career rushing leader.

Subject of a previous thread who was said to be considering LC, LU.  Rumor of a Hofstra commitment seems unsubstantiated. Things have quieted down re J since the furor over his diss by Big-33.  Obviously this would be huge.///////

AJ Scoppa  New Milford, NJ  Bergen County's career rushing leader. Not real big in stature but big enough, strong, quick, and good.  This would make me happy.///////

Edward Houghton   Phillips Andover Academy.  Canadian product  would meet carney's desire for a "big back"  around 6-0 225   4.46.

scout.com (October)    Eddie Houghton has yet to pick up his first offer, however it isn’t for lack of talent. Houghton put up impressive numbers as a senior in high school, however the post graduate student played in Canada and it looks like college coaches want to see him do it in the States as well before offering.

“The schools recruiting me are Harvard, Vanderbilt, Richmond, Princeton, Penn, Northwestern, Minnesota, Lafayette, Illinois, Holy Cross, Fordham, Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, Brown, Boston College and Amherst,” Houghton explained. “The Ivy Leagues are recruiting me the hardest right now and Cornell has told me I am their number one back on their list.

Admittedly, a tenuous connection.   Also, HC has signed his RB
teammate. ///////

Mike Little    Middlesex

Courier News

The Blue Jays finished 9-2 by giving the ball to this 5-foot-11, 200-pound senior 221 times for an area-leading 1,477 yards and 17 touchdowns. Little was able to use his strength in short yardage to literally carry multiple defenders on his back, while his athleticism enabled him to break off long runs as well. Defensively, the linebacker recorded 63 tackles and intercepted two passes. Little is being recruited by Delaware, Lafayette, Lehigh, Georgetown, Bucknell, Towson and Hofstra.///////

Jake Nardone   Beaver HS    5-9 170    All-State 1st  AA level.  WPIAL's leading rusher in '08.

I've not seen anything in print re our interest, but he is Evan's brother.///

Lyle Marsh to Penn.  Pete Bross FB Parkland, on campus last week, to Army.

That's all I've got at  RB, not much in terms of #s for a position of need for us. Anyone see anything more in print?
