DL Rick Lyster commits

This commit had been posted in a Star Ledger forum, but I've been waiting for it in print, and this is great! Saw Rick on campus last week: big dude, great build, in prime shape. Another in a string of wrestlers (to make LCLF happy) to play DL for us. There is video out there on the shore conference site. One hour earlier and I had my notable for the day. I'm psyched!

Ocean defensive lineman Rick Lyster, an All Shore Media first-teamer and the Liberty Division Defensive Player of the Year, has committed to Lafayette, according to Ocean coach Don Klein, so congrats to Lyster. Another Ocean senior, safety/wideout Rhett Cowley, is narrowing it down between Lafayette, Holy Cross and Sacred Heart.////////

Highlights: Lyster was a major part of a defense that recorded six shutouts and was not scored upon in five home games. He ended up with 67 tackles, 15 of which were for a loss and 6-1/2 sacks. He forced two fumbles and recovered a fumble. He was the Federal Division Defensive Player of the Year.
