Look good early. Up 14 with 8 minutes left in the first half. And, much better stream so far.

An amazing night.
The men and women are both ahead at halftime. I don't know if this has happened all year.
The Cross men can't shoot tonight. Lafayette was getting rebounds but Husek is grabbing a lot.
Lehigh and Bucknell are playing a tight good game, Lehigh 43-40 at the half.

Has the stream crapped out on anyone else tonight?  It has dumped me three times so far.

I ran out at halftime, came back - no stream. Is this a joke?

Lafayette men and women both start second half miserably. Two student-athletes and a mannequin at half court during a break in the men's contest.

W 69-59. The rebound edge, defense and Cross's lazy approach on offense were the difference.

The ball moved more quickly and crisply in the first half. As someone else stated here, HC looked a bit sluggish in the first half on offense too. We weathered the run at the beginning of the second half, made our FTs and hung on to win.
As FOH always does, he knows how to squeeze minute out of each player he puts in there. Stout and Jarrett are starting to figure it out. I really like the Jarrett kid, he just busts it all the time. In one sequence in the second half he got called for an offensive foul which was a clear out by the offensive player, then got fouled on a strip at the other end, screamed down the court and blocked the shot. I hope he hits the weight room over the summer because that will make him even better.
7 win, not terrific, but, more than last year.

Its a win - we'll take it.  Hope that incoming point guard can distribute as advertised.

Shooters we got....distributors we need.   But that said, the last time I recall a recruit coming in with HS stats that gaudy his name was Ehlers and that worked out pretty well.

I am always wary when I see stats batted about. That sounds nice but at what level of competition is he performing at?
