Final score in this game is not relevant. Don't care. Not bothered. I love this team. That is what a DI lacrosse game is supposed to look like.

Tonight, Rutgers was just a bit more athletic when all is said and done. But everything about the Pards' performance showed they're up to the challenge. They know how to play the DI game at a nuts-and-bolts level. It's all there - the scheme, the technique, the awareness, the teamwork and the attitude. It's easy to say, "don't think - just do." But that's what you just saw, folks.

I haven't felt so enthusiastic about a Lafayette team in a long time. I hope every Lafayette coach will suggest to his/her players that they watch a replay of this game . . . because that's how it's supposed to be.

GO PARDS!!!

We gave them a battle, for sure. And this is not "Kirsten Wilhelmsen and the Seven Dwarfs." I do think that we need to get into the weight room more. Both Binghampton and Rutgers seemed to have an edge when it came to physicality IMO. I think we can put together a full game against a tough team. While I was a little early in predicting last year's team would make things happen, my fifth place prediction for PL this year is now FOURTH. So there.

With a little luck they could do better than that and make some noise in the playoffs. I do agree on the strength side. It showed in the draws especially. But overall this was a good game that will raise our level for sure. Temple will be another test away from the friendly confines of Fisher.

I too enjoyed the show last evening. This is a program I would LOVE to see come "all the way" back. When I was a student the team was among the nations best and watching the likes of Liz Bagley and Suzi Farrell made me fall in love with the sport.  The landscape has changed considerably since then, but I have to think we could return to some level of prominence.
Three sophomores had two goals apiece - I'm hoping this can be the team that can at least get us on the right end of the W-L column!

Really good effort and hopeful signs for rest of year and next few.  I do not agree with idea of eliminating the draw control - any more than I would eliminating face off in men's game (which they have already mucked with enough).   If you have a great specialist like (Anna White was re: draws) you should use it - in lacrosse just like any other sport.

My reservation in both M and W lax is that one aspect of the game can become the overwhelming centerpiece. I've seen it too often where a team with a great FOGO vs one with a less accomplished FOGO can totally dominate a game even if the other team may be better overall. Makes the game too one dimentional

Anna White is one of my top-ten most memorable student-athletes at LC.
