Well it's been that kind of year. The weather has been great here for a few days so this is surprising.

I imagine the outfield is still too wet, bpard. The baseball field sits on the highest portion of the Metzgar complex (I think) and the drainage at Metzgar is pretty good for the most part. They'll get it ready soon I hope.

True. I was outside and the yard has that sudden-thaw consistency of fluffer-nutter. Playing a game would wreck the field.
February baseball scheduling is a little wishful anyway.

Were it a FH game, of course, they'd be busy making the field as wet as possible. Grounds crew can't win, can they? Rolling Eyes

I just noticed this thread now. It looks like La Salle and Lafayette have an annual tradition of scheduling a "just in case" game in late February that never actually gets played. Here's hoping the coaches and players are prepared if they miraculously wake up to a 60 degree day one year down the road.
