On a FL gulf Coast beach as we post, honda.. The drought ended upon our arrival. Apparently we've triggered monsoon season. I blame my friend BillS.

2014 - Asst at Prestonwood

2015 - 6 months HC at SW Christian

2015-16 - 2 yrs IMG

2017 - 6 months LC

2017 - new employment

5 jobs over last 4 years.

Still finding his path and that's fine. I'm sure JG got certain answers to certain questions. We met Rich his first week here, heckuva nice guy. Best of luck. I find no reason to question my support of the program.

Andy, the heavy rain should be over except for the daily afternoon showers. How is the water?

Beautiful green tint, nice warm temp but very choppy since Monday. Very little sun but we've spent plenty of time in the water.

Are the guys back for first summer semester?

This is hardly the end of the world. Coach G will find a competent replacement.

Met him at my son's official visit    Nice guy but just did not seem like he fit in did not talk to him much as my son is a DE. Maybe it was he was from the South and it was a cold day in the North.    Best of luck to him     Go Pards

Coach Bartel and coach Chiarolanzio are no longer listed on the lafayette website.

I have to assume this is just normal growing pains. I'm not going to worry (unless and until Paul Reinhard says to worry).

Aaron Best, 1st-year coach at Eastern Washington U who was hired in January, lost his OC on Wednesday when the guy apparently got homesick and went home to Hawaii. "Not in panic mode," Best says. Does that scenario sound familiar? If it's true that misery likes company, coach Garrett has it in coach Best.

When a coach calls a play he must believe it is going to work. What is he suppose to do when the play doesn't work? CALL THE NEXT PLAY!

No solicitations for an "offensive coordinator?" Perhaps Garrett will assume that title.

Best of luck to Rich Bartel and his family. It will be interesting to see where he lands.
