Congrats to Jeff Canfield on All-League.  Do not understand how Perini does not make either first or second team - leads league in scoring, top 5 in most other offensive catagories.   That said, it does feel like this team is on the rise despite heartbreak outcome this past weekend.

I agree this coach with little or no suppot from the school, coaching the toughest sport in the PL, played some very competitve lacrosse. We came close against Army and Colgate and beat Lehigh. Great effort by all, here's hoping we can build on this season and this senior class's desire and heart!!

I can't speak for the coaches, but these may have been factors in their voting:

-  LC's ooc schedule was significantly weaker than the top teams, which helped Perini's stats a lot.    His league stats were not as good as his non-league stats.

-  In PL play - which usually carries much of the weight with the voters - he was tied for 3rd-6th in goals, with a few of the other top players close behind.

-  In PL play, he was not in the top 10 in points per game.

-  He had only one assist for the season.   All of the other top attackmen had double figures, with Corp and Winter well into the 20's.

-  Had a fairly low pct of goals relative to shots in PL play - lower than most of the attackmen who made either of the teams.

OTOH, I'm sure some can cite arguments for him making 2nd team ahead of Peyer or Paul.
